GTIP<\/strong> is the abbreviation of Customs Tariff Statistics Position. In our country, GTIP<\/strong>, which is generally used instead of tariff schedule, is actually the name given to the 12-digit code in the Turkish Customs Tariff Schedule. HS Code, Customs Tariff, Harmonised Code or Harmonised System in English.<\/p>\n

GTIP<\/strong> consists of a 12-digit code system,<\/p>\n

1-2. The first two digits represent the chapter in the system.<\/p>\n

3-4. The third and fourth digits represent the heading.<\/p>\n

5-6. The fifth and sixth digits represent the subheading.<\/p>\n

7-8. The seventh and eighth digits represent the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union (This code exists to facilitate the examination of trade statistics of member countries of the European Union).<\/p>\n

9-10. The ninth and tenth digits represent different tax numbers.<\/p>\n

11-12. The eleventh and twelfth digits represent the GTIP code.
